3... 2... 1... Blast Off!

Our field trip to the planetarium was a blast! The children were so excited about the bus ride! It was a beautiful day (although a little windy!). The staff at the planetarium was wonderful and knew exactly how to talk so first graders would listen! We watched two movies about planets and the moon, and were treated to a really cool star show that taught us about constellations and how to find them in the night sky. As a bonus, we "took" two IMAX roller coaster rides! After that we had a lovely lunch on a nearby college campus, where we were able to take some pictures of some really happy first graders!
