3... 2... 1... Blast Off!

Our field trip to the planetarium was a blast! The children were so excited about the bus ride! It was a beautiful day (although a little windy!). The staff at the planetarium was wonderful and knew exactly how to talk so first graders would listen! We watched two movies about planets and the moon, and were treated to a really cool star show that taught us about constellations and how to find them in the night sky. As a bonus, we "took" two IMAX roller coaster rides! After that we had a lovely lunch on a nearby college campus, where we were able to take some pictures of some really happy first graders! 

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was a great time for us to show our friends how much we care about them! We work hard in Room 305 to create a culture of kindness, friendship and respect. All the love shows! I love the way they love each other! 

100 Days Smarter

The 100th Day of school is aways a big hit and this year was no exception! We rotated through fun stations all day that involved building, counting, creating, organizing, ordering and more. One of our favorite parts was using an aging app that turned us into wise, older people! Enjoy our 100th day pictures!
